My story
From finding the right products to finding the right mortgage.
I was born and raised in Tehran, Iran, where I earned my MBA and worked for years as a procurement specialist. In December 2019, my wife Ellie and I moved to Canada, landing in beautiful Newfoundland. Soon after, our puppies Joey and Maya joined us and completed the family.
During four wonderful years on the East Coast, we launched Rug the Rock and watched it grow with the support of an incredible community. In 2022, we made another big move and settled in Oakville, Ontario.
I realized that my favourite part of running a business was helping people search the market and choose the right product. Becoming a mortgage professional felt natural: it combines careful analysis with flexibility and real connection.
Outside work, you will find me listening to jazz or post-rock, watching football, spending time with friends, and telling terrible dad jokes.
